What is Rolfing SI?

What can it do?

Rolfing SI was developed by a brilliant female Biochemist back in the 1940’s. Her name was Dr. Ida P. Rolf. She studied and explored many different theories, practices, medical approaches and came up with the idea of Structural Integration, which came to be known affectionately as Rolfing in her honor.

Rolfing SI reorganized the connective tissue, called fascia, that is a crystalline liquid web that permeates the entire body. Dr. Rolf discovered that fascia surrounds, supports and penetrates all of the muscles, bones, nerves and organs.

Rolfing SI works with this web-like complex of connective tissue to release, realign and balance the body. With less restrictions, there is more glide and ease in the body as tissue and organs can relate more freely.
